Spinal Decompression

Spinal Disc Decompression Therapy: Intervertebral Differential Dynamics Therapy

IDD therapy was developed in the late 1990’s it is a computer driven spinal decompression system used to mobilize and distract isolated cervical and lumbar segments. The device induces a negative hydrostatic pressure within the disc, which has a mobilizing effect on the disc that promotes healing restores normal spinal disc, and joint function, and relieves neck and back pain. IDD therapy also includes application of pre and post treatment physical therapies and instruction in spinal stabilization and conditioning exercises.

The Accu-SPINA system is manufactured by North America Medical, and is FDA cleared. This system produces beneficial decompressive forces to injured spinal disc and joints, which alleviates pain and restoring normal function, without the need of surgical intervention. Dr. Basilio Pace, Chiropractic Physician, introduced this special spinal rehab in 2005, and was the first in Hudson County, since then 100’s of patients with disc injuries have been successfully treated, without further complications or surgery.

In October 2008 Dr.Pace was recognized by Union City for his contribution of this new spinal rehab technology to the Hudson County Community.
